My favorite childhood book is with out a doubt,
"Where the Wild Things Are". I love this book because it allows children to explore the world of imagination and creativity. It enables children to dream outside of the box and express themselves through dramatic play and other areas of self expression.
This is a great book. I feel like each time that I read it, I realize something else in the book that I had not previously got. My preschool students love this book and it is usually the book that I read when we start our unit on monsters. We read books like "Go Away Big Green Monster," "Glad Monster, Sad Monster," and "One Hungry Monster." Did you like the movie based on this book??
ReplyDeleteNever read that book. I have to put that book on my to read list.
ReplyDeleteI have actually never seen the movie; I heard it wasn't very good. Have you seen the movie?
